In the summer of 2008 she found out that she had lump on her breast we went to a doctor and he said that it was just a cyst she felt that it was more than a cyst and she looked for a second opinion and this surgeon told her that just from looking at it she could tell it was more than a cyst and it was very likely that it was cancer. Nicha and her family were hoping that it would not be cancer. Nicha had a biopsy and the results proved that it was breast cancer. Her family prayed that after the breast removal Nicha would be free of cancer but that was not the case. Cancer was detected in her lymph nodes, the cancer had spread. Nicha has currently gone through two chemotherapy treatments and has lost her hair.
Nicha lives in a small town in Nevada Called Battle Mountain she has four children. Her husband is working in a nearby town. Nicha has a lot of support from her family and community.

Nicha and Nolo
My mom Nicha is very loving fun person to be around. She is very supportive of me and i'm able to talk to her about anything. I am currently studying in Las Vegas this is my last year and I really want to graduate so that i can make my mom proud. Our family has been trying to do anything we can in order to ease her pain. This is exactly why i have set up this wig fund because i want her to have her wig so that it could ease some of that pain that she is going through.
