Lori Ballard has been through so much in these past few years. The loss of her sister played a toll in her life, but her son & new husband have kept her strong enough to live through it. Now , she faces her toughest fight...breast cancer. She will start her first round of chemo the first of December & the only thing that is scaring her is the loss of her hair. She is determined to beat this & everyone who looks into her eyes can see that she will. The hope that using her own hair to make a wig has her spirits lifted & with your help...she can keep her head high! |

| Lori & I worked together at a Bank a few years ago & became close. Even after I had quit, we still spoke & have stayed in touch. She is a busy body & always has somewhere to be . As I heard about Lori's cancer diagnosis it broke my heart & the first thing I thought of was her beautiful boy who is her world. What would he do without her? They are so close & have a special relationship that anyone can see just looking at the two of them. Tears flooded & my heart sunk. I called Lori with a shoulder to cry on & she was a rock! She assured me that she would beat it & didn't leave any reservations in my mind. She is as tough as nails. As I hung up the phone , I realized that her life isn't over just because she has cancer. She has proven to me & anyone that comes in her path , that cancer is just a |
