The Community Fund was established to assist people who are experiencing hair loss due to medical reasons. The Fund accepts monetary donations and hair donations. The concept was started in 2008 when our economy started a downward spiral into a recession. Many people who had hair loss as a result of chemotherapy, radiation, alopecia, brain surgery and other factors could no longer afford a wig. The Community Fund will distribute fdonated money to other active wig funds and/or make wigs to donate to individuals in need.
Please support this fund and help someone in your community. Having a wig brings a sense of normalcy to these people's lives during troubled times.
