Q: Will my custom wig be styled?

When your wig is finished being made it is in "raw" form. This means it has not been cut and/or styled. We highly recommend taking the new wig to your hairstylist and having him/her cut and style it on your head. If you are local to Southern California and are able to visit World of Wigs' salon then we recommend having your wig cut at their establishment. They have 50 years of experience in the industry and are experts in wigs. If you cannot visit their salon then they will do a basic cut and style for you and once you receive the wig you should then take it to your stylist for a finished cut and style.

Q: How do I donate hair to a wig fund?

Choose your desired wig fund then click on the "Donate to this fund" button on that wig fund's page. Choose the "Donate hair to this fund" option, fill out the form, and follow the directions given toward the bottom of the donate page.

How to cut hair in order to donate it:
1. Rubberband your hair into tight ponytails
2. Cut hair approximately 1 1/2" above rubberband
3. Put hair in tissue or baggy

Any hair that is loose (not rubberbanded), scooped up off of the floor, or was not included in the original rubberbanded ponytail disqualifies the ENTIRE bundle of hair.
