Jennifer is married with two sons. She is a 5th grade teacher; however, she was unable to start this year with her new class. Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer the week after we got back from a weekend in Palm Springs from celebrating our 40th birthdays. She had a double mastectomy 3 weeks ago and unfortunately they found cancer in one lymph node. Therefore she will begin chemotherapy next week. She has been extremely positive and strong throughout this journey. Jennifer is showing us her strength each day and reminding us about the importance of friendship.
