My mom is one of the strongest and hard-willed women you will ever meet. She is a single parent of two, myself and my sister. When she was 32 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was 7 years old and my sister was 2 years old at the time. I personally remember her getting sick after her chemo treatments and the loss of her hair. She overcame some of these obstacles she faced without complaining. She continued to be strong and survived it once again. She was cancer free. Seven years later, her hip broke. The cancer had returned to her bones. Again she faced and conquered the chemo treatments, radiation and loss of hair....she was cancer free again. One year later, the cancer returned and she is now fighting everyday to kill this horrible disease. After numerous chemo treatments, she still does not have any hair. The synthetic wig she wears is very uncomfortable. If she meets the goal, she can have a human hair wig that will make her head feel better Our mother deserves this wig and much more as I said in the beginning, she is the most strongest and hard willed woman I personally know. She is my hero.
