Welcome to Linda's Wig Fund
Thank you for viewing our Wig Fund. We have now raised enough money to buy a custom wig, from my donated hair and the hair of our friend Elsa Henderson, for my sister Linda Johnson, that is battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer. All that has been donated is so greatly appreciated!

Linda Johnson, has Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She has had 4 major operations in the past 2 years. She went through 17 Chemo treatments in 2008 and 2009 and the cancer continued to grow. She recently had her spleen removed where the cancer has mestasized to this organ. On top of this, she is raising her 6 year old Grand-daughter, where her son passed away in 2005. Her newest Granddaughter is only 2 months old. In addition to Zoe, she has 5 other Grandchildren six and under, with one other being 10.They are now giving her very aggressive chemo and she will be loosing all of her hair. This is a deep concern for her, as it would be for any woman. She is a good Christian, always putting other first. She has been through so much these past 2 + years and knows that there is so much more terrible treatments that she will have to bear in the future. She is a very good person, kind, and giving. I hope and pray that you will give back to her, with a donation and your prayers.

My sister Linda and I
Linda Johnson is my sister, she just turned 58 on September 13th. I have had my long hair cut, along with a friend, and have provided our hair to World of Wigs, to make Linda's wig.

I am so pleased to say, that through the efforts of all that donated, we have reached our goal. Enough money has been generously donated to provide this wig to Linda.

I want to express my true graditude to each of you that helped to make this possible.

Now the only thing I request from you, is to continue your prayers that she will have a full recovery. I know through your prayers and with God, she can beat this cancer!

It will be two years on November 2nd that I was diagnosed with cancer. When going thru the chemotherapy and radiation treatments I thought of you often, and admired your strength and determination you exhibited throughout your ordeal. I thought my treatments were horrible, but I am sure they parred in comparison to hell you have had to endure. Know that you are loved by so many and so highly respected as a person. We should both be so thankful that we have Mary as our sister
